Hear the themes that emerged from research on the spiritual journeys of 33 men and women who came to faith while incarcerated and grew in their faith.  The individuals sharing their journeys have been in the free world for more than a year and share what has helped them sustain their faith in Christ.

Dr. Karen Swanson documented each spiritual journey as an important research study.  Findings from the study will encourage and equip you for ministry!

Karen has been the Director of the Correctional Ministries Institue (CMI), Wheaton College Billy Graham Center since 2005. As Director, she oversees the Charles W. Colson scholarship program and pursues the goals of the Correctional Ministries Institute through networks, collaboration and strategic partners. She has more than 25 years of higher education experience and has developed and teaches Certificate Program in Correctional Ministry courses offered through the Correctional Ministries Institute.
