CMCA invites you to celebrate our Annual Correctional Ministry Summit. This year the Summit will be held virtually. You will be able to participate wherever you are. This Correctional Ministry Summit offers training, inspiration, resources and networking opportunities to those working with the incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, victims, and their families.
CMCA remains constant in our vision and purpose of the Summit and we pray that each year offers a new and fresh perspective for our attendees to encourage them in their work to fulfill the Great Commission in Corrections.

About the CMCA 2020 Summit
The CMCA Summit is unique:
- With a mission of bringing together Christians engaged in all areas of correctional ministry: Jail/Prison Ministry, Reentry, Juvenile/Youth Ministry, Chaplaincy, Advocacy. Over 119 organizations and 38 states (including Canada) were represented in last year’s Summit.
- With practical training from over 20 workshop selections, networking opportunities.
- With inspiration and encouragement from plenary speakers bringing a wealth of experience and commitment to corrections.
Workshops
This year’s Summit features 4 workshop sessions with industry experts providing training in the areas of Advocacy, Chaplaincy, Jail/Prison Ministry, Juvenile/Youth, Reentry. New this year: You must pre-register for a workshop. Click on Workshop Schedule and Workshop Descriptions for complete information before registering for the event.
Policy Forum
This year’s policy forum will be on Clean Slate Legislation. The Policy Forum features a live panel of experts and opportunity for Q&A. The forum runs from 10 am – 11am CST on Friday, August 14. Troy Rienstra from Safe and Just Michigan will be the keynote speaker.
