Heather Rice-Minus

Sr. Vice-President, Advocacy and Church Mobilization, Prison Fellowship

Heather Rice-Minus serves as senior vice president of advocacy and church mobilization at Prison Fellowship, the nation’s largest Christian nonprofit serving prisoners, former prisoners, and their families. She is a powerful, knowledgeable voice articulating the case for restorative criminal justice solutions and how churches play a critical role in meeting the needs of those impacted by crime and incarceration.

Heather provides strategic leadership to several teams at Prison Fellowship, including grassroots and policy staff, to advance campaigns on pivotal criminal justice issues. She spearheads Prison Fellowship’s efforts to build new church resources and deepen church partnerships through programs like Prison Fellowship’s Angel Tree. Additionally, she directs Prison Fellowship’s outreach to and partnerships with foundations.

Marcus Bullock

Founder/CEO Flikshop

Marcus Bullock is an entrepreneur, justice reform advocate, and TED speaker. Following his 2004 release from prison, he launched a construction business that grew to employ other returning citizens. Bullock is also founder and CEO of Flikshop, Inc., a software company that builds tools to help incarcerated people stay connected to their families and build community.

The Flikshop mobile app enables families and non-profit organizations to send personalized postcards to any person in any cell in the US, with the mission of using social connections to
decrease recidivism. He also founded the Flikshop School of Business, a program that teaches returning citizens life skills and entrepreneurship via computer coding and software development.

Neil Volz

Deputy Director of the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition

Neil Volz has more than 25 years of experience working as a public servant and community advocate. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition.

His previous work includes being the Chief of Staff for a Member of Congress and the Staff Director for a full Congressional Committee, as well as the Outreach Director for one of the fastest growing Churches in the country and as the Program Director for a leading Non-Profit Organization that serves formerly homeless veterans. Additionally, his career includes working as an entrepreneur, leading numerous social and media campaigns and successfully representing clients at two top 100 law firms.

Brianna Nuhfer

Director of Criminal Justice, Stand Together

Brianna Nuhfer is the director of criminal justice at Stand Together and leads the policing reform portfolio. Her work focuses on advancing strategic partnerships, policy reforms, and public dialogue that breaks the barriers preventing people from realizing their potential. Previously she co-founded a non-profit which identifies local needs and equips men and women to take action to serve in their communities. Walden received her B.A. in Political Economy from Hillsdale College, graduating summa cum laude. She is an alumnae of the Koch Associate Program and currently resides with her husband and cat in Falls Church, Virginia.
